Men's Soccer Blanks Colby

The Middlebury College men's soccer team received two goals from first-year player Tyler Macnee (Williston, Vt.) in the first half to remain unbeaten with a 3-0 NESCAC road win at Colby on Saturday. Macnee tallied unassisted just 3:40 into the game and then added another goal at 35:40 when he placed a shot into the left corner of the net. Senior Baer Fisher (Kenilworth, Ill.) got past Colby's defense and scored on a one-on-one situation on goalkeeper Doug Sibor at 71:03 of the second half.

Middlebury (4-0-1 overall, 2-0-1 NESCAC) has allowed just two goals in five games this season. Senior Brian Bush (Madison, Wis.) stopped three shots for the shutout, while Sibor made six saves.
