The Middlebury College track and field teams hosted their only meet of the spring at the Dragone Track and Field Complex on Saturday. The Panther men and women both won the meet, defeating the University of Vermont and Plattsburgh. Three different Middlebury women won two events on the afternoon, as did first-year runner Michael Schmidt (Wilmette, Ill.) won who both the 1500 (4:08.53) and the 5000 (15:33.36).

Sophomore Connor Wood (Chicago, Ill.) was a winner in the 400 (51.20), classmate Addison Godine (Milton, Mass.) won the 800 (2:00.28), while rookie John Montroy (Mahwah, N.J.) won the 110 hurdles (16.17). Other winners for the men included junior Robert Athan (Wayland, Mass.) in the long jump (20'.25"), first-year thrower Alexander Myerson (Mercer Island, Wash.) in the discus (132'5") and senior Chandler Koglmeier (Cincinnati, Ohio) in the hammer (129'4").

Sophomores Annie Rowell (Craftsbury, Vt.) and Erin Toner (New Providence, N.J.) both won a pair of events on the women's side. Rowell was victorious in the 100 (12.74) and 200 (26.27), while Toner won the 800 (2:23.02) and the 1500 (4:47.21). Also winning twice was senior Jennifer Brenes (Lawrence, Mass.), who won the 110 hurdles (15.33) and the long jump (17'5.25"). Senior Kelley Coughlan (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) was a winner in the triple jump (36'9.75"), while classmate Emer Feighery (Westborough, Mass.) cleared 10'3" to win the pole vault. Other winners for the Middlebury women were sophomore Alice Wisener (Ridgewood, N.J.) in the 400 hurdles (1:04.29) and rookies Margo Cramer (Seattle, Wash.) in the 3000 steeplechase (11:45.81) and Rebecca Fanning (Ipswich, Mass.) in the 400 (1:01.26).
