The Middlebury College women's tennis team dropped a mid-week NESCAC match to Williams on Proctor Courts. Senior Chandra Kurien (Fairfield, Conn.) was the lone singles winner, earning a 2-6, 6-2, 6-0 win at #3, while she and senior Elizabeth Stone (Cohasset, Mass.) were 8-5 winners in doubles play.

The Panthers picked up a NESCAC road win at Tufts, defeating the Jumbos 7-2 on Saturday. Middlebury entered the match ranked 15th in the latest Division III national rankings, while the Jumbos were ranked 19th. Middlebury took two of three singles matches to grab an early 2-1 lead. Middlebury won five of six singles contests, including a win by rookie Anna Burke (Summit, N.J.) at #5 singles. Burke dropped the first set 6-0, before coming back with a pair of 6-2 wins.
