MEN'S GOLF COMPETES TWICE

The Panther men's golf team earned a solid fourth place finish at the 23rd Annual Palamountain Invitational hosted by Skidmore College. The host team won the 14-team event with a 622, followed by Hamilton (638), Skidmore Gold (644) and Middlebury (646). Senior Michael McCormick (Oak Park, Ill.) led the Panthers, earning a fifth place tie with a two-day total of 156. Sophomore Brian Cady (Rye, N.Y.) shot a 161, good for 16th place, followed by junior Ben Kunofsky's (Dallas, Texas) 167 in 29th. Senior Kyle Perez (Upper Saddle River, N.J.) shot a 167, while senior Jimmy Levins (Rutland, Vt.) fired a 168 to round out the Middlebury scorers.

Over the weekend, Middlebury took part in the annual Colonial Cup competition against Williams. The friendly two-day Ryder Cup style event is held between to the schools to help prepare for the upcoming NESCAC Championship.
