The Middlebury College men's tennis team improved to 11-2 overall with three wins at home last week. The Panthers won a pair of matches on Saturday as they topped Skidmore 7-2 before earning an 8-1 NESCAC win over Wesleyan in the Nelson Rec Center. All but one singles victory over both Skidmore and Wesleyan were in straight sets, as the Panthers swept all six doubles matches over the two matches.

Fourth-ranked Middlebury came back the next day with another NESCAC win as they picked up a 6-3 win over Trinity on Proctor Courts. Middlebury took two of three doubles matches to grab a 2-1 lead. The Bantams evened the match with a win at #3 singles, before the Panthers took a 4-2 lead with a 6-2, 6-3 win by sophomore Andy Peters (Baltimore, Md.) and a 6-3, 6-3 victory at #1 by senior Conrad Olson (Waterloo, Belgium). Trinity cut the margin to 4-3 before junior Peter Odell (Scarsdale, N.Y.) clinched the victory with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 win at #6 singles.
