The Middlebury College indoor track teams competed at Wesleyan over the weekend, with several athletes turning in top performances. Senior Kelley Coughlan (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) and Jennifer Brenes (Lawrence, Mass.) both won two events each to pace the women. Coughlan won the triple jump (35'8.5") and the high jump (4'9"), while Brenes earned wins in the 55 hurdles (8.84) and the long jump (16'6.5").

Also earning a win on the afternoon was sophomore Addison Godine (Milton, Mass.), who picked up a win in the 800 with a time of 2:00.61. Placing second in the 55 hurdles was first-year racer John Montroy (Mahwah, N.J.), while classmate Mia Martinez (Ridgewood, N.J.) did the same with a time of 8.33. Others earning second place finishes were sophomore Adam Dede (West Chester, Ohio) in the pole vault (13'6") and rookie Ethan Mann (Norwich, Vt.) in the 400 (53.85).

Middlebury boasted a pair of relay teams with first place finishes. The women's 4x400 team comprised of sophomores Grace Close (Fox Point, Wis.) and Katy Magill (Boxford, Mass.), along with first-year racers Rebecca Fanning (Ipswich, Mass.) and Julia Sisson (Omaha, Neb.), won the event with a time of 8:27.47.

On the men's side, Godine, Mann, senior Max Mackinnon (Norwich, Vt.), and sophomore Connor Wood (Lincolnshire, Ill.) won the 4x800 with a time of 4:13.82.
