The Middlebury College baseball team wrapped up its season last week, playing at Castleton before hosting Wesleyan. The Panthers took the non-league game from Castleton on Tuesday, as they came back from a three-run deficit in the ninth to pick up an 8-7 win on the road.

The Panther women's tennis team fell to defending national champion Williams 5-0 in a NESCAC semifinal contest played at Williams. The Panthers will hope for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament when the pairings are announced late Monday night. Amherst went on to win the title with a victory over Williams.

The Middlebury College women's lacrosse team has earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Panthers will host Keene State in a first-round game on Wednesday, May 6th at 4:30. The winner of the game will advance to an NCAA Regional at Colby.

The Panther track and field teams returned to action with a trip to the New England Championships hosted by Springfield College. The women's team placed third overall among 26 teams competing, while the men were 11th among 25. Top eight finishers at the meet earned All-New England honors.

The Middlebury College men's tennis team won its fifth NESCAC Championship in the last six years with a 5-3 win over Amherst at Williams. The Panthers receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and will find out their fate when the pairings are announced late Monday night. Middlebury moves to 19-2 overall, earning its 11th consecutive win.
