The Panther men's tennis team began spring play with three matches at home on Saturday. The fourth-ranked Panthers had little trouble with their opponents, beating N.Y.U 9-0, topping Oneonta 8-1, before earning an 8-1 victory over Brandeis.

Middlebury's win over N.Y.U. saw not one of the top three singles players lose a game, as junior Andrew Peters (Baltimore, Md.), senior Andrew Lee (Eden Prairie, Minn.) and rookie Alec Parower (Scarsdale, N.Y.) were all 6-0, 6-0 victors. The threesome, along with senior Peter Odell (Scarsdale, N.Y.) each won a pair of matches on the weekend. The Panthers also failed to lose more than three games in any of their nine doubles matches over the three wins.
