WOMEN’S GOLF SOLID AT NYU

The Middlebury College women's golf team fired a 317 on day two to finish in second place with a 640 at the New York University Invitational. Williams won the event with a 624, while Amherst placed third with a 641 in the 13-team event.
Senior Keely Levins (Rutland, Vt.) led the Panthers with a third place finish, firing a two-day total of 154. Sophomore Jordan Glatt (Doylestown, Pa.) was next for the Panthers with a 160, finishing in a tie for 10th place. Sophomore Michelle Peng (West Harrison, N.Y.) took nine strokes off her day one score, shooting a team-best 76 on day two for a 161. Junior Caroline Kenter (Winnetka, Ill.) came in with a 165, while rookie Monica Chow (Newton, Mass.) shot a 170.
