 The Panther cross country teams hosted their only meet of the season as the Panther men and women both captured the Aldrich Invitational. The top-ranked Middlebury women convincingly won the six-team race, placing the top six runners and 11 of the top 12 finishers. The 10th-ranked men were equally as dominate in their six-team race, owning the top 11 finishers.

            Senior Addie Tousley (Kensington, Md.), won the women’s race by 23 seconds, finishing with a time of 18:13. Placing second was junior Katie Rominger (Brooklyn, N.Y.) in 18:35, followed by sophomore Katie Carlson (Princeton, Mass.) in third place with a time of 18:52. First-year racer Katherine Tercek (Los Angeles, Calif.) was next for the Panthers, with a fourth place finish in 18:53, followed closely by sophomore Alison Maxwell (Port Angeles, Wash.) in fifth, earning a time of 18:55.

            The men were paced by senior Jack Davies (Grosse Point, Mich.), who won the race by nine seconds with a time of 25:54. Trailing him was senior Patrick Hebble (Sudbury, Mass.) in 26:05, followed by third place finisher, junior Nate Sans (Princeton, Mass.), who ended the race in 26:17. Sophomore Kevin Wood (Lincolnshire, Ill.) and senior Anthony Lee (Plainsboro, N.J.) owned the fourth and fifth spots, finishing in 26:26 and 26:34 respectively.
