MEN’S SQUASH HANGS TOUGH WITH COLUMBIA

The Middlebury College men’s squash team dropped a tight 5-4 match at home to 10th-ranked Columbia on Saturday afternoon. Columbia took a 2-0 lead before #9 sophomore Will Hanley (Towson, Md.) and #2 junior Parker Hurst (Greenwich, Conn.) each earned victories to knot the match at 2-2. With the match tied at 3-3, #7 sophomore Reed Palmer (Boston, Mass.) gave the Panthers a 4-3 advantage with two contests to be decided. Unfortunately, Middlebury dropped both of those contests in overtime games, falling 5-4.
