            The Panther men’s squash team finished up the season ranked 14th nationally after a solid weekend. The Panthers were third seed in the Hoehn Cup (B Division) at Nationals hosted by Princeton. The Panthers opened with a 5-4 loss to St. Lawrence, sending them to the consolation bracket. Middlebury bounced back with a 6-3 victory over Bates, before closing with a hard-fought 5-4 loss at the hands of Navy.

In the match vs. St. Lawrence, the contest came down to the final game of the final match. With the overall match score tied 4-4, the Saints’ Chris Fernandez and Panther junior Spencer Hurst (Greenwich, Conn.) battled to 2-2 at #4. The fifth game came down to the wire, with Fernandez pulling out an 11-9 win to seal the match for the Saints.

The following day, the Panthers earned the win over Bates, while senior Addi DiSesa (Wynnewood, Pa.) won the final match of his stellar collegiate career with an 11-9 fifth game victory against Navy. Junior Jay Dolan (Wareham, Mass.) at #2 and sophomore Parker Hurst (Greenwich, Conn.) at #3 both went undefeated over three matches for the Panthers.
