 The Middlebury College women’s lacrosse team saw its season come to an end with a 15-7 loss to Salisbury in the NCAA semifinals at Montclair State in New Jersey. The Panthers were making their 15th trip to the final four, ending their season with a 15-5 mark. Top-ranked Salisbury improved to 22-0 overall before falling 8-7 to Trinity in the finals on Sunday.

The Panther men’s golf team finished with a 308 on day two for an overall score of 617 at the NCAA Championships. The Panther did not make the cut for the final two days of play, finishing in a 21st place tie overall. Action was taking place at the Mission Inn Resort, in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

Nine members of the Middlebury College track and field teams have qualified for the upcoming NCAA Championships. The events take place May 24-26 on the campus of Claremont-Mudd-Scripts in California at the Fritz B. Burns Stadium. Six women and three men will represent the squad at the championships.

The Middlebury College track and field teams took a handful of athletes to compete in the ECAC Championships hosted by Rensselaer. Junior Grace Doering (Darien, Conn.) was the team’s top finisher, clearing 5’4.5” to finish second in the high jump.
