 The Middlebury College field hockey team has earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Panthers earned a first-round bye and will travel to Skidmore for an NCAA Field Hockey Regional this weekend. Middlebury will take on the winner of the Franklin & Marshall/Cortland game on Saturday, November 12th.

The Middlebury College women’s volleyball team will make its second straight and third overall NCAA Tournament appearance, when the Panthers travel to Clarkson for an NCAA Regional. The matches will take place Friday-Sunday, November 11-13, with the winner advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals.

Despite resting several of its top runners, the Middlebury cross country teams performed well at the ECAC Championships hosted by Williams. The Panther women won the 40-team race, while the men were third among 44 teams.

Junior quarterback MacCallum Foote (Newton, Mass.) threw for four touchdown passes, while senior Zach Roeder (Keene, N.H.) had a huge game defensively as the Panthers (3-4) earned a 40-21 win over Hamilton (2-5) in the “Rocking Chair Classic”.

The Middlebury College women’s soccer team will make its sixth NCAA Tournament appearance this weekend when they host an NCAA Regional. The Panthers will take on Lasell on Saturday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m., while Roger Williams meets The College of N.J. at 1:30 p.m.

The Middlebury men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 game to #6 Amherst in a NESCAC semifinal road game on Saturday afternoon. The Jeffs improve to 13-1-2 overall and will take on Trinity in the title game on Sunday at noon. Middlebury finishes the season at 8-4-4.
