            The Panther men’s golf team qualified for the 2012 NESCAC Championship with a third place finish at the fall qualifier. Williams placed first with a 586 and will host the spring event, followed by Trinity (588), Middlebury (594) and Hamilton (600). Action was taking place at Lyman Orchards Golf Club and was hosted by Wesleyan.

            The Panthers shot a red-hot 291 on day two to earn the third place finish. Junior William Prince (New Canaan, Conn.) finished the event tied for sixth with a 147, followed by sophomore Rob Donahoe (Canton, Mass.) with a 148, both shooting 73's on day two. Sophomore Chris Atwood (Rochester, N.H.) came in with a 150 after a 70 on day two, followed by rookie Charlie Garcia’s (Garden City, N.J.) 151 and sophomore Max Alley’s (Albany, N.Y.) 156.
