WOMEN’S TENNIS OPENS FALL SEASON AT WILLIAMS

September 12, 2011

The Middlebury women's tennis team opened its fall season at Williams, taking part in the Lindsay Morehouse Invitational with Vassar and Skidmore.

All four teams played great tennis with several players and doubles teams doing well. Middlebury rookie Lok-Sze Leung (Hong Kong) and junior Leah Kepping (Northport, N.Y.) went 3-1 in the A Flight this weekend. The doubles team of senior Victoria Aiello (Milton, Mass.) and Kepping went 3-0 for the weekend. Sisters Dorrie and Katie Paradies (Atlanta, Ga.) posted good records, winning both of their matches Sunday. Dorrie beat Williams' Maria Pylypiv in a super tiebreaker on Saturday.
