MEN’S GOLF PLACES FOURTH AT ST. LAWRENCE

The Middlebury College men’s golf team opened up the fall season with a fourth place finish at the 15-team St. Lawrence Invitational. St. John Fisher won the event with a two-day total of 586, with the Panthers coming in with a 608.

            Sophomore Chris Atwood (Rochester, N.H.) led the team in his first match, finishing with a two-day total of 148, good for eighth place. Tying for ninth was junior William Prince (New Canaan, Conn.) with a 149, followed by sophomore Rob Donahoe (Canton, Mass.) in 23rd place with a 155. Sophomore Max Alley (Albany, N.Y.) shot a 158, while senior Michael Graham (West Chester, Pa.) came in with a 160 to round out the Panther scorers.
