WOMEN’S GOLF PLACES SECOND AT ST. LAWRENCE

The Middlebury College women’s golf team opened up the year with a second place finish at the nine-team St. Lawrence Invitational. The host school won the event with a 675, with Middlebury trailing by just one stroke at 676.

            Senior Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) led the squad with a fifth place finish, shooting a two-day total of 157. Just one stroke behind was junior Keely Levins (Rutland, Vt.) in sixth with a 158. Sophomore Caroline Kenter (Winnetka, Ill.) followed in seventh with a 161, followed by senior Alison Andrews (Seattle, Wash.), who shot a 200.
