MEN’S GOLF PLACES FOURTH AT DUKE NELSON

Leading by four strokes after 18 holes, Skidmore fired a 292 on day two to capture the 27th Duke Nelson Tournament hosted by Middlebury College. The Thoroughbreds finished with a 588, followed by Williams (607), ’10 champion Rensselaer (608), Springfield (609) and Middlebury (611). Skidmore’s Anthony Dilisio captured medalist honors with a 72 and 70 for a two-day total of 142. Action took place on the par 71 Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the campus of Middlebury College.
Sophomore Rob Donahoe (Canton, Mass.) led the Panthers with a 149, followed by classmate Max Alley’s (Albany, N.Y.) 153 and rookie Charlie Garcia (Garden City, N.J.) with a 155. Junior William Prince (New Canaan, Conn.) (156) and sophomore Chris Atwood (Rochester, N.H.)(158) rounded out the Middlebury squad.
