            The Middlebury College men's tennis team earned another NESCAC win on Sunday, picking up a 7-2 victory over #10 Williams (8-3, 3-2). The top-ranked Panthers improve to 16-1 overall and 6-0 in NESCAC play, winning their eighth straight match.

            Middlebury took all three doubles matches, two of them tightly contested. In singles play, 10th ranked senior Andrew Peters (Baltimore, Md.) picked up a big win at #1 over second-ranked Felix Sun of Williams, 6-3, 5-7, 6-2. Rookie Zach Bruchmiller (San Antonio, Texas) topped #31 Matt Micheli of Williams 7-5, 7-5 at #2, while sophomore Alec Parower (Scarsdale, N.Y.) was a 4-6, 7-6, 10-4 winner over Zach Weiss in the fourth slot. First-year player Brantner Jones (Winnetka, Ill.) was the other singles winner, coming from a set down to defeat Dylan Page 5-7, 6-1, 6-3.

            Middlebury improved to 15-1 on the season with an 8-1 win over Skidmore (8-7). The Panthers lost just one singles match, with Parower clinching the victory with a 6-4, 6-1 win at #3 singles. Middlebury has now won its last seven matches.
