            The Middlebury College swimming and diving teams took part in a meet on Saturday afternoon at Union. The women picked up a 201-97 win, while the men dropped a tightly-contested 151-147 decision.

            Senior John Dillon (Wellesley, Mass.) and first-year racer Andrea Tibbetts (Dover, Mass.) both took home four wins. Dillon won the 100IM (55.97), the 200 fly (2:00.48), while being a part of the 400 medley relay team with a 51.81 split time in the fly. Tibbetts captured the 100 IM (1:01.86), 200 back (2:11.85), while earning a 1:00.88 back split in the 400 medley relay win.

            Senior Alyssa Ha (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) picked up wins in the 50 fly (27.35) and 100 free (55.62), while junior Katherine Loftus (Madison, Conn.) was a winner in the 200 fly (2:10.60) and 500 free (5:11.31). Also winning twice were senior Jessie Ward (Pittsford, N.Y.) (50 breast-32.51, 400 medley relay), junior Nick Daly (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) (50 free-21.58, 400 medley relay) and rookie Ian Mackay (Vero Beach, Fla.) (50 fly (23.63, 200 free relay).
