The 2010 Volleyball Hall of Fame Women's Invitational concluded with Middlebury and Bridgewater State winning their respective brackets. A total of 16 teams participated in the 19th edition of the tournament, which was hosted by Smith College and Mount Holyoke College.

Middlebury out-gained Bates 532-149 on the day as the Panthers (2-3) picked up a 22-9 win over Bates (1-4) on homecoming weekend. Middlebury senior Donald McKillop (Poway, Calif.) set the New England Division III record for most passing yards in a career with (7,847), surpassing Matt Jozokos of Plymouth State who threw for 7,814 yards from '87-'90.

The Middlebury College field hockey team picked up its eighth consecutive win as the 13th ranked Panthers (10-3) earned a 4-1 win over Bates (4-9) on Kohn Field. Middlebury clinches home field and will host a NESCAC Quarterfinal game next Sunday, while wrapping up its regular season this Friday at Williams.

Middlebury remained unbeaten in its last six NESCAC games, as the Panthers (7-3-3) picked up a 2-0 win over Bates (6-6-1) on homecoming weekend. The Panthers wrap up their regular season next Friday at Williams, as they battle to secure home field for a NESCAC Tournament quarterfinal game.

One goal is all Bates needed as the Bobcats (5-7-1) knocked off 13th ranked Middlebury (11-2) 1-0 on homecoming weekend in Vermont. The Panthers had won four straight games and had allowed just three total goals in their previous 12 contests.
