WOMEN'S GOLF PLACES SECOND AT OWN INVITATIONAL

            The Panther women's golf team finished second overall at its own invitational tournament, finishing with a two-day total of 692. Williams won the event with a 652 at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course, while Vassar finished the six-team event third overall with a 706. Georgiana Salant of Williams won medalist honors with a 155.

            Leading the team and placing third overall was junior Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.), who shot a 78 on day one to finish with a 163. Placing 12th at the event was sophomore Keely Levins (Rutland, Vt.) with a 176, followed closely by senior Jessica Bluestein (Tucson, Ariz.) with a 176 in 13th place. First-year player Caroline Kenter (Winnetka, Ill.) wasn't far behind with a 178, followed by junior Kaitlin Surdoval (Sparta, N.J.), who shot a 250.
