The Middlebury College women's volleyball team opened up the 2010 season with four matches played at the Endicott Tournament. The Panthers defeated Eastern Connecticut on Friday night 3-0, before falling to the host school by a score of 3-2. On Saturday, Middlebury opened with a 3-0 victory over Emmanuel, before ending the weekend with a 3-0 win over Bowdoin.

The Panther men's tennis team opened the fall by hosting its annual Middlebury Invitational Tournament on campus. Middlebury dominated the event, winning all four singles titles as well as one of two doubles brackets.

The Middlebury College men's golf team took part in the St. Lawrence Invitational over the weekend to open their season. The Panthers shot a 611 to finish fifth overall in the 15-team tournament, while Waterloo won the event with a 591.

The Panther men's soccer team opened NESCAC men's soccer action for the 2010 season with a 1-0 victory at Tufts University on a picture-perfect Saturday afternoon at Kraft Field. The game was the first in the head coaching tenure of Tufts' Josh Shapiro, a 1997 Middlebury graduate.

 The Middlebury College women's golf team opened the season with a third place finish at the St. Lawrence Invitational. The host school won the nine-team event by coming in with a 633, followed by N.Y.U. (643) and Middlebury (658).

The Panther cross country teams opened up their 2010 campaign with races at Dartmouth. The Panther women came in second to the Big Green, followed by Yale and Williams. The Middlebury men were fourth among the four teams, with Dartmouth winning the event.

 In a season-opening showdown between national top 10 NESCAC programs, #4 Tufts took a 3-0 victory over #8 Middlebury in field hockey at Bello Field on Saturday afternoon.

 The Middlebury College women's tennis tennis team began its fall season with a trip to Williams to compete with Vassar, Skidmore and the host school. The round robin style play gave players plenty of match experience as they prepare for the ITA's later this fall.

 Tufts rookie Maeve Stewart started her collegiate career with a hat trick to lead Tufts to a 3-0 NESCAC victory over the 11th ranked Middlebury College Panthers at Kraft Field on Saturday afternoon.
