WOMEN'S GOLF OPENS SEASON AT ST. LAWRENCE

            The Middlebury College women's golf team opened the season with a third place finish at the St. Lawrence Invitational. The host school won the nine-team event by coming in with a 633, followed by N.Y.U. (643) and Middlebury (658).

            Junior Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) finished the tournament third overall, coming in with a two-day total of 155, including a 74 on day two. Senior Jessica Bluestein (Tucson, Ariz.) finished in a tie for seventh place with a 161, followed by sophomore Keely Levins (Rutland, Vt.) (166) and first-year player Caroline Kenter (Winnetka, Ill.) (176).
