Roeder Named NESCAC Player Of The Week

Middlebury College baseball player Zach Roeder (Keene, N.H.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week. The junior catcher extended his hitting streak to 12 games last week, hitting a red-hot .714 for the Panthers in a 4-0 week. Roeder went 7-10 in the team's three-game sweep over Hamilton, scoring and driving in five runs. Roeder drove in the only run in game three, a single through the left side in a 1-0 win. He now leads the team with a .462 average, including six doubles, two homers and 24 RBI.
