Baseball Team Helps Out In Vermont

September 27, 2011

On Sunday, September 25th, the Middlebury College baseball team made a trip to Bethel, Vermont to lend a hand to some of the victims still struggling to clean up from the devastation caused by hurricane Irene.  Their eyes were opened wide by what they experienced. The water lines on buildings and the silt left in basements is still causing many Vermonters to deal with extreme adversity on a daily basis. Bethel and the surrounding area was one of the hardest hit and remains a challenge for residents there. The players were humbled by that experience were happy to lend a hand to the local residents for the day.
