Spring Break Trip Continues For Baseball

Middlebury was in action with four more games during its spring trip to Tuscon, Arizona. The Panthers dropped a pair of games to St. John’s, 17-3 and 10-4. In game one, Dylan Sinnickson went 3-4 with a triple and a homer, driving in a pair of runs. Thomas Rafferty was 2-4 in the game with a double. Game two saw Sinnickson go 2-3 with a double, while Max Araya also hit a double.

The Panthers bounced back with a 13-6 win over Lewis and Clark the following day. Middlebury bounced out 19 hits in the win, scoring runs in innings 4-8. Sean McQuillan was 4-5 with two runs scored and two RBI, Rafferty finished the game 3-5 with a double and two RBI, while Thomas Driscoll went 3-6 with two driven in. Alex Kelly had a double, triple and drove in three while scoring twice, while John Luke went 3-4 with a double and three runs scored. Tyler Buckingham picked up the win with seven innings of work.

Middlebury gave up five runs in the third and could not get back into the game on its way to a 14-3 loss to Carleton. Michael Morris went 3-5, while Driscoll had a pair of hits.
