Sinnickson Earns All-NESCAC Honors

Middlebury College baseball player Dylan Sinnickson (Sands Point, N.Y.) has earned second-team All-NESCAC honors. The sophomore led the team in hitting this year with a .379 average, while pacing the squad in several other offensive categories.

Sinnickson started all 31 games this spring, with his batting average placing him seventh in the NESCAC. He earned a team-high 44 hits, three triples and two homers. The centerfielder finished the season first on the team and seventh in the league with a .446 on-base percentage. He also stole nine bases while his speed helped him amass 85 putouts in centerfield.

Sinnickson opened the season with six straight multiple-hit games, going 14 of his first 25. He earned two seven-game hitting streaks this season with 15 games with two or more hits. In an April 14th game with Hamilton, Sinnickson went 5-6 with two runs scored.
