Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time:

Being a skier, I had the opportunity to experience the Middlebury SnowBowl before I even thought about applying to college.  The Snowbowl is one of those places you never forget, and my college search was virtually over before it ever started.  When my brother (Chris Everett ’01) eventually toured me around the campus and athletic facilities, I knew immediately it was where I wanted to go.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

The community and environment are what make Middlebury College such a special place.  Going back to school is always something to look forward to and you feel like you are going home, not just going back to school.  Every time I leave school for a period of time, I realize how lucky we are to have a school as great as Middlebury.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

My most memorable moment as an athlete came my freshmen year, at the Middlebury Carnival.  I did not make the weekend carnival team (6 men), so I watched from the side of the hill as our team broke UVM’s 30 year winning streak of the Middlebury Carnival.

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

Playing sports has taught me a lot and forced me to learn how to manage my time as a student.  Ski training can take four or five hours a day and you have to make sure you have your priorities straight  While trying your hardest at a sport, you have to keep school your number one priority and while doing all this you have to make sure you are having fun and leaving time to hang out with friends.
