Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time:

Upon arriving at “Club Midd”, I realized the great emphasis this school puts into their appearance.  Everything has to be the biggest and best at Middlebury.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

It's location.  Growing up in northern Wisconsin I believed that upon entering college I would have to abandon my passion of hunting for four years.  To my delight, I was able to continue bird and deer hunting throughout my Middlebury career.  Also, I think it is necessary for students who attend Middlebury to be able to leave this campus and enter the real Vermont.  This real Vermont consists of dairy farms, maple sugar stands, and back-breaking work.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

My fondest memories at this college occurred during my freshmen and sophomore years when I would go down to my Captain’s houses and just hang out with them.  They always had time for me, and for this reason, we were a team.

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

If you don't put "hay in the barn" during the summer and fall, the farm will not be able to survive the winter months.
