Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time:
The campus at Middlebury compliments the natural beauty of Vermont and it offers a friendly/community oriented campus. The facilities are so great. We have so much available to us here at Middlebury.
What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?
It's in Vermont!
What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?
I still have three seasons left to create lots of memories, but my favorite and best memory so far was last season at NCAA’s in Stowe, Vermont when I came through the finish line of the SL race to see that most of my ski teammates had traveled over to watch the race and were waiting at the bottom cheering. We all ended up in one big hug jumping, smiling, laughing and so excited, and it was then that I was reminded of how great it is to be apart of a team that is always there to support you.
What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?
Ski racing has been a part of my life since I was a little girl, but what I’ve realized at college is that ski racing does not define my life or who I am. It is my passion and something I love to do and that will stay a part of my life forever, but I have learned that it is the people who you choose to be surrounded by and who you are influenced by in your everyday life that help to define your life and to me that is an element of a team that I can take with me wherever I go in the future.
