Women's Cross Country Places Second At ECAC's

11/8/04 - The Panther women's cross country team finished 2nd of 24 teams at the ECAC Championships hosted by <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Tufts University.

On the women's side, first-year racer Ceara Danaher (W. Hartford, Conn.) led the Panthers as she finished fourth overall with a time of 23:15, 25 seconds off the winning time. Finishing ninth was junior Claire Anderson (Whitefish, Mont.) with a time of 23:33, followed by sophomore Alison Brown (Rolling Hills, Calif.) in 12th place in 23:46. Other scorers for Middlebury were sophomore Claire Schultz (W. Barnstable, Mass.) in 15th place (23:56) and junior Julia McKinnon (Kalispell, Mont.) in 16th place (23:56).<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
