Women's Cross Country Finishes Second At Albany

10/15/05 - Middlebury's women's cross country team raced among a packed field at the Albany Invitational last Saturday, finished second among 23 teams. The races featured several Division I teams from around the region.

First-year racer Alexandra Krieg (Wellesley, Mass.) led the women's team with an eight place finish in 18:09, 1:22 off the winning pace. Placing 10th in 18:15 was junior Makely Lyon (Portland, Ore.), followed by junior Erin Archard (Vienna, Maine) in 22nd place (18:34). Senior Claire Anderson (Whitefish, Mont.) finished the race in 35th place (18:57), while senior Kelsey Rinehart (Moorestown, N.J.) rounded out Middlebury's scorers in 38th place (18:58).
