All-NESCAC Cross Country Teams Announced

The NESCAC has released its 2008 All-Conference cross country selections, based on individual's finishes at the recent NESCAC Championship races. Head Coach Terry Aldrich was chosen as the Women's Coach of the Year. Aldrich helped his squad earn a share of the 2008 NESCAC Women's Cross Country title, the first conference championship for the Panthers since 2004. Aldrich previously received Women's Coach of the Year in 2000 and again in 2001.
Earning first-team honors for the second straight season was senior Alexandra Krieg. Holding spots on the second-team were rookies Cate Brown (Hanover, N.H.), Claire McIlvennie Middlebury (Ithaca, N.Y.), Elise Moody-Roberts (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), along with sophomore Hannah Meier (Charlotte, Vt.). On the men's side, rookie Michael Schmidt (Wilmette, Ill.) earned second-team honors.
