Cross Country Squads Win Aldrich Invitational

The Middlebury cross country teams hosted their only meet of the season as the Panther men and women both captured the Aldrich Invitational. The top-ranked Middlebury women convincingly won the six-team race, placing the top six runners and 11 of the top 12 finishers. The 10th-ranked men were equally as dominate in their six-team race, owning the top 11 finishers.

The 10th-ranked men were equally as dominate in their six-team event, owning the top 11 finishers.

Addie Tousley won the women’s race by 23 seconds, finishing with a time of 18:13. Placing second was Katie Rominger in 18:35, followed by Katie Carlson in third place with a time of 18:52. Katherine Tercek was next for the Panthers, with a fourth place finish in 18:53, followed closely by Alison Maxell in fifth, earning a time of 18:55.

The men were paced by Jack Davies, who won the race by nine seconds with a time of 25:54. Trailing him was Patrick Hebble in 26:05, followed by third place finisher Nate Sans, who ended the race in 26:17. Kevin Wood and Anthony Lee owned the fourth and fifth spots, finishing in 26:26 and 26:34 respectively.
