Davies & Tousley Earn All-American Honors

November 19, 2012

Middlebury College cross country runners Jack Davies (Grosse Point, Mich.) and Addie Tousley (Kensington, Md.) have earned All-American honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Overall finishes at the NCAA Championships is the determining factor as the top 35 individuals from both men’s and women’s races earn All-America plaudits from the USTFCCCA.

Tousley earns All-American honors for the third time in cross country. She finished in 20th place as a sophomore and sixth place a year ago. Last weekend, the senior finished the 277-person race in fourth place with a time of 21:14. Her finish was the best by a Middlebury athlete since Dorcas DenHartog ’87 won the title in 1985.

Davies earns All-American honors for the first time on the men’s side. The senior finished 21st overall at the NCAA Championship race, earning a time of 24:57 in the 280-man race. His 21st place effort was the best by any men’s runner at Middlebury in school history.
