
The Middlebury College field hockey program has announced its summer camp schedule for for 2012. The Panther field hockey camp will take place from August 5-7 on the newly rebuilt Kohn Field on campus. CLICK HERE for the camp brochure and be sure to fill out the RELEASE FORM if you plan to attend.

Three members of the Middlebury College field hockey team were honored when the NFHCA (National Field Hockey Coaches Association) released its All-American teams. Junior Lauren Greer (N. Hampton, N.H.) earned a spot on the first team, classmate Margaret Souther (Scarsdale, N.Y.) was a second-team honoree, while junior Charlotte Gardiner (Larchmont, N.Y.) was named to the third team.
Middlebury College field hockey player Lauren Greer (N. Hampton, N.H.) has been named the NFHCA (National Field Hockey Coaches Association) New England Region Player of the Year. The junior helped lead the Panthers to this year’s NCAA Championship game with an overall record of 17-4.
Middlebury saw its hopes of an NCAA Championship fall short, dropping a 3-1 game to The College of New Jersey. The title game took place on Vendetti Field on the campus of Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts. The Lions won their 14th straight game to finish at 24-2 overall, while the Panthers finish the year with a 17-4 mark. Appearing in the NCAA title game for the sixth time in school history, Middlebury previously won the championship in ’98.
