Field Hockey Wins Home-Opener

9/14/04 - Emily Enos scored on a rebound with just 4:36 left to lift #10 Middlebury to a 3-2 win over #13 Springfield on Kohn Field.

Springfield took a 1-0 lead 4:55 into the game as Amber Paradee found Kim Stevens for the goal. The Panthers answered just 25 seconds later as Emily Read found the back of the cage. Middlebury took its first lead of the game at 22:40 as Emily Enos scored with a nice feed from Claire Edelen. The Pride tied the game at the 19:43 mark with a tally from Brittany Veazie. The game remained at 2-2 until Enos netted the game-winner at 4:36.

Meg McGillen made a dozen saves in goal for Middlebury, while Lindsay Pardue made 25 stops for Springfield.
