Greer Earns All-American Honors

Middlebury College field hockey player Lauren Greer (N. Hampton, N.H.) has been named a second-team All-American by “womensfieldhockey.com”. The sophomore helped lead the Panthers to a 13-5 mark in ’10, with a trip to the NCAA Quarterfinals.

Greer is a two-time All-NESCAC choice, winning Rookie of the Year honors in ’09. She led the team in goals (20), assists (11) and points (51) this season, scoring a team-high six game-winning goals. She finished the season second in the NESCAC in assists (.61/game), while ranking third in points (2.83/game) and goals (1.11/game). Greer scored a season-high three goals twice this season, while owning five multiple-goal games. She now owns 38 goals and 15 assists for 91 points in 35 career games.
