Greer Earns NESCAC Honors For The Third Time - Leading The Nation

Middlebury College field hockey player Lauren Greer (N. Hampton, N.H.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week for the third time this season. Greer had a hand in half of the Panthers’ goals with three tallies and two helpers during a 10-0 win at Bates on Saturday. With the effort, Greer became the program’s all-time leader in points with 158, surpassing Heidi Howard’s 155 from 1995-98. She also set the single-season scoring mark with 67 points after Chase Delano had 61 in 2008. Greer now leads the NESCAC in goals (26), assists (15) and points (67). She and the Panthers will host Williams on Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m.

Greer is also now leading the nation with 2.0 goals, 1.15 assists and 5.15 points/game.
