Secor Named NESCAC Defensive Player of the Week

10/24/05 - Middlebury College defensive back Scott Secor (Lake Odessa, Mich.) has been named the NESCAC Defensive Player of the Week. Secor and the Panthers will host Trinity this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on Youngman Field at Alumni Stadium.

Secor had a big day on defense for Middlebury last Saturday, leading the Panthers to their first win of the season, a 41-7 decision at Bates. In the game, the junior recorded five tackles, two interceptions and a sack. Secor returned his first interception 49 yards for a touchdown, while returning his second pick 28 yards. He also had a sack for a loss of 10 yards on the afternoon.
