MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Clarkson captured the 20th annual Duke Nelson Golf Tournament hosted by Middlebury College on the Ralph Myhre Golf Course. The Golden Knights were in a first place tie with Hamilton, both firing 307's on day one. Clarkson came back strong on day two with a 311, led by Eric Wallace's 72, to capture the tournament. Williams, who shot an impressive 305 on the second day of the tournament, placed second via a tie-breaker over Hamilton. Vermont placed fourth with a 621, followed by the host school from Middlebury with a 627 in fifth place.

Middlebury rookie Jay Yonamine paced the team with a 151, placing him in a fourth palce tie. Mitch St. Peter was next with a 155, followed by Chuck Clement with a 157, Derek Singer, who shot a 164 and Tim Quinn, who came in with a 172.
