The Panther men’s golf team finished seventh of 19 teams taking part in the Williams Invitational over the weekend. The Panthers came in with a 593, while Salem State won the event with a 569.
Junior George Baumann (Mequon, Wis.) led Middlebury with a two-day total of 152, including a 73 on day two. Next for the Panthers was sophomore Harrison Bane (Marblehead, Mass.) with a 154, followed by senior Chad Bellmare (Bedford, N.Y.), who shot a 155. Senior Jay Yonamine (Eden Praire, Minn.) finished the tournament with a 159, while junior Jeff Patterson (Old Saybrook Conn.) trailed by one stroke with a 160.
