Men's Golf Completes Fall At NEIGA Championship - Bane Honored

Harrison Bane shot a 68 on day two.
The Middlebury men's golf team completed its fall season at the NEIGA Championship in Brewster, Massachusetts. After struggling with a 337 on day one, the Panthers battled back with a 298 on day two (second lowest day two score) to earn a tie for 14th place with a 635 in the 42-team tournament.
Harrison Bane, the winner of the '08 Guy Tedesco Award (N.E. College Player of the Year), paced the team with a two-day total of 148, including a 68 on day two (earning All-N.E. honors). Michael McCormick followed up an 83 with a 74 for a 157, followed by Ashley Miller with a 165. Brian Cady and Jim Levins both shot a 169 to round out the team.
