5/5/04 - Four members of the Middlebury College men's tennis team have qualified for the NCAA individual championships. All four players will also be taking part in the team championship on May 12-14 at Bates College. The Panthers will take on Trinity of Texas in the quarterfinals at noon on Wednesday. If victorious, they would play in the semifinals on Thursday and the Championship on Friday.
In individual play, Nathan Edmunds (23-6) and Brian Waldron (20-10) have both qualified for the Championships. Head-to-head competition begins on May 15th and runs through the 17th, also at Bates College. In doubles action, the team of Justin Ingoglia and George Mayer (7-3) will compete for the NCAA Title as well.
