7/1/05 - Ten members of the Middlebury men's tennis team received post-season honors by the ITA. The group helped lead the Panthers to a 17-3 record with a NESCAC Championship and a trip to the NCAA title match.
Earning All-American honors in singles play were Brian Waldron and Ari Beilin. The doubles team of George Mayer and Kevin Bergesen were also deemed All-Americans.
Middlebury also excelled in the classroom, as the team earned Academic All-American honors. Six individuals also earned Academic All-American honors, including Nate Edmunds, Salih Unsal, Alex Meditz, Mike DiRaimondo, Scott Palmer and Jeff Oldenburg.
