The Middlebury College men’s tennis team won six of seven matches played in California over the break, including three wins over teams ranked in the top 10. The second-ranked Panthers defeated Cal. Poly-Pomona 8-1, picked up a win over Chapman 7-0, before falling to Claremont-McKenna 4-3. Middlebury then came back to pick up big wins over #10 Pacific Lutheran 7-0, #6 Trinity of Texas 7-0 and defending NCAA champion and top ranked UC-Santa Cruz, 4-3.
