Early Start Not Enough As Midd. Falls To Williams

1/29/05 - Middlebury got off to a great start but could not continue its pace as they fell to Williams, 72-54. The Panthers held a 7-0 lead early, holding the Ephs scoreless for the game's first 5:00 on 0-9 shooting from the floor. Williams came back with a 14-4 run later in the half, to take a 20-19 lead at the 7:24 mark. The lead increased to seven at the half and slowly grew in the second half as the Ephs pulled away. Middlebury shot .476 from the floor in the first half, cut connected on just .267 of its shots in the second session.
Simon Behan paced the team with 13 points, Clark Read added 10, while Adam Sinoway grabbed eight boards.
