Men's Basketball Drops Game At Colby-Sawyer

1/6/05 - Middlebury shot .475 from the floor, but it wasn't enough as they fell at Colby-Sawyer, 76-71. The Chargers rallied from a nine-point deficit in the second half to pick up the win. Middlebury led the game from the opening tip until 12:38 remained in the game, when the Chargers grabbed their first lead, 51-49, on a pair of free throws. The game, which was tight throughout, saw eight ties and five lead changes.
Middlebury was led by Clark Read's 18 points on 7-of-14 from the floor and 4-of-5 from the free-throw line. Adam Sinoway was the other Panther in double-figures, scoring 13 points.
